Non-surgical alternative to laser vision correction
At Auptician Optometrists, we are proud to offer Nocturnal lens — a revolutionary type of contact lens that gently reshapes your cornea while you sleep, giving you clear, natural vision all day without glasses or daytime contact lenses.
Nocturnal lens, technically known as Ortho-K, is ideal for both adults who want freedom from glasses and an excellent option for children with progressing myopia (short-sightedness), where it can help slow or even stop further deterioration of their myopia.
Who can choose Nocturnal lens?
Nocturnal lens is an excellent choice if:
✔ You have a Short-sighted (Myopic) glasses number
✔ You want to be glasses-free during the day
✔ You cannot wear glasses or daytime lenses for work, sports or hobbies
✔ You’re considering laser surgery but want a non-surgical alternative
✔ You are an active adult — ideal for runners, swimmers, cyclists and gym users
✔ You are a parent of a short-sighted child, and want to help slow down their myopia progression
At Auptician, we provide Nocturnal lens for both adults and children. It is a clinically proven way to manage childhood myopia, reducing the risk of future eye diseases associated with severe short-sightedness.
Nocturnal lenses are specially designed rigid gas permeable lenses worn overnight. While you sleep, the lenses gently reshape the front surface of your eye (the cornea). In the morning, you simply remove the lenses — and enjoy clear, corrected vision throughout the day without any need for glasses or contact lenses.
Unlike laser eye surgery, Nocturnal lens (orhto-keratology) is non-invasive and reversible. If you stop wearing the lenses, your eyes will gradually return to their natural shape.
