Ahmed Qazi began his journey in the optical industry in 2004 as an Optical Assistant and quickly progressed through extensive training, including hospital-based experience at Coventry Hospital. Over the years, he has gained a wealth of experience working with leading optical providers across the UK, including Vision Express, Boots Opticians, Tesco Opticians, Specsavers, Scrivens, and Optical Express. His professional experience also extends internationally, where he spent five years further developing his clinical expertise and broadening his understanding of eye care delivery.

Alongside his clinical work, Ahmed has contributed to the education of future optometrists as a Clinical Supervisor at the University of Bradford. He has successfully completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Research at Glasgow Caledonian University, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based practice, research, and lifelong learning. As Director and Lead Optometrist at Auptician, Ahmed combines extensive clinical experience with the latest advancements in eye care to provide patients with personalised, high-quality vision and eye health services.

Ahmed has a particular interest in advanced retinal imaging, glaucoma management, myopia control, and innovative treatments for age-related macular degeneration, including photobiomodulation therapy. He is passionate about bringing cutting-edge eye care technologies and personalised patient-centred services to the local community.
